Gospel-Centered Community
Gospel-centered community is one of our core values at The Bridge, and it is at the heart of all we do. When we become followers of Jesus, we also become brothers and sisters in the family of God. Community groups meet weekly, and it is in this context where we learn how to be family, how to love each other and Jesus well, how to stir one another to good works, and how to encourage each other toward Jesus. It isn't just a part of the church; it IS the church.
Each group has designated leaders trained to facilitate biblical community and prayer, and our hope is that, through community groups at The Bridge, people will find their life-source through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that members of each group will truly commit to living daily as the hands and feet of Jesus to serve His redemptive mission in the world today. We were never meant to live life by ourselves.
We invite you to explore our community groups and find one that is a good fit for you and your family. Most of our groups are between 8-15 people who meet in a home once a week for about an hour and a half to two hours. Most groups are multi-generational as well. Each week, you will usually spend time eating with one another (not all groups have a meal every week), encouraging one another, and discussing the Scripture for that week.
