For God so loved that world that He GAVE his one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
— John 3:16

Someone once said, “we are most like God when we give.”

We believe Scripture teaches that GIVING is:

  • An Act of Worship
  • Sacrificial
  • Cheerful
  • Regular
  • Proportional

We believe that GIVING includes:

  •  Time
  • Talents
  • Treasure

At The Bridge 20% of all giving goes to other missionaries and ministries The Bridge partners with.

Another 10% of all giving goes into a special fund for future church plants.

Since Jesus talked more about money than Heaven and Hell combined, we believe giving is a crucial part of a growing Christian’s lifestyle.

God does not need our time, but we need to give God our time.

God does not need our talents, but we need to give God our talents.

God does not need our treasure, but we need to give God our treasure.

At the end of the day, it’s not really about time, talent or treasure.  It’s about Christ being magnified in our hearts.  Jesus said, “where your treasure is there your heart is also.”  And God wants our hearts

One way we know God has our hearts is when we give freely and joyfully and sacrificially and regularly.  And when we get to that point, God is glorified and we are blessed.

So, we pray and as we pray we are always humbled and encouraged at how God calls people to give of their time, talents, and treasure at The Bridge.

“God’s work done in God’s way for God’s glory will never lack God’s supply.” - Hudson Taylor

If God is leading you to give, please give as an act of worship and please know that your gift will further the Kingdom as we all seek together to make much of Jesus and connect people to His indelible grace.

Joyfully,

Steven
