Mom’s Day Out-
Moms of The Bridge-Mark your calendars! Join us Wednesday, July 8, at 10:00 am, for a laid-back morning of connection, conversation, and cool-down fun at the Glazebrook Splash Pad. While the kids splash and play, you’ll have a chance to relax and get to know other women from The Bridge. We’ll have popsicles for everyone, so just bring sunscreen, towels, and a friend! RSVP to Sarah Beiser.
Koz- KOZ is designed for boys between the ages of 8-18 years old. It provides an opportunity for them to learn outdoor skills while developing relationships with other like-minded boys and the men who are mentoring them. The next KOZ meeting is Saturday, July 11th at 9:00 am. We will be taking a class in firearm safety at the Winchester Gun Range (600 Powder Mill Rd, East Alton) and will head back to Calvary Baptist (1422 Washington Ave, Alton) for lunch and pickup at 1:00 pm. We’d love to see the boys and dads come join us!
The Restore Network Back to School Bash- The Restore Network will provide school supplies for over 300 students at their annual Back to School Bash in July. The Bridge will be collecting 325 boxes of Crayola 24 count crayons. While you’re out shopping for deals on back to school supplies, pick up a few boxes of crayons to support kids living in foster homes throughout our community. Please leave donations in the basket in the foyer by July 12.
Bridge Kids Teacher and Helper Training-
Lunch and training are scheduled for Sunday, July 19, from 12-2 pm. If you are serving in Bridge Kids in the upcoming year, please make every effort to attend. Register at https://thebridgealton.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3712020
Promotion Sunday- Also known as Sundae Sunday, August 9 is the day where we celebrate our Bridge Kids leveling up to their next grade. It’s the final week for kids to be in their current classes before moving up on August 16. We will recognize our students who are promoting to Middle School in the Worship Service. During class, kids will have the opportunity to make an ice cream sundae. If your child has food allergies, please talk to Natalie Runyon so accommodations can be made.
As a church that is for our city, we want to encourage those who call The Bridge their home to check out and support local events and live missionally in our community.

Serve with Bridge Kids! One of the most vital ministries of our church is Bridge Kids. Our ministry team consists of over 60 volunteers! Volunteers commit to serve one Sunday a month for a year, and are equipped with the tools they need to minister to our Bridge Kids. We need volunteers for all ages (birth-5th grade) for the upcoming school year. To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our kids, all volunteers must complete The Bridge’s “Five Safety Steps” before serving. Ready to make a difference? Contact Pastor Steven.
Men's Bible Study-Tuesday mornings from 7-8, the men of The Bridge meet to study and discuss the upcoming week's sermon text. Coffee and donuts are provided.
Community Groups- There are a variety of Community Groups that meet throughout the year. To find a Community Group that’s right for you, or to learn more about leading or hosting a group, see Pastor Jon.
